Last year, there was no time to garden as it took 6 weeks just to clean up all the garbage. In another two weeks to mow the grass down and clear all the brush. Getting the yard safely fenced for the ducks and Westley was the number one priority. But I did garden as much as possible as it is my favorite pastime.

I knew ducks liked water and all I had was the old tub, so I made a little ramp and blocked the overflow to reach max water level. It was a huge hit! It does get extremely dirty very quickly. I could probably change the water 3 times a day if I wanted to, but they only get clean water once a day for the tub. They're drinking water I've been changing very frequently.

I recently got ducks to help control the slugs and ticks in the yard, and I have to say I absolutely love them, and the duck eggs are delicious.

Is that throttle body cleaner you re using? Also what were the symptoms: sudden crappy idle or gradual? Did it idle good in P but not in D ? Lastly did it work? Thanks so much.
So it ran much better after being cleaned out, and it was throttle body cleaner, the sensor safe kind. Unfortunately there was a leaking cylander so it carboned up pretty quickly again.

I live in Alberta. I just caught one for one of my nephews today to bring home haha. You'll see loose black dirt often. Fresh looking and odd piles in moist areas. Moved the dirt pile. There's a little hole maybe as big as your thumb. Most times a salamander is in there😊

Is this poor magpie ok? Did it fall out of the nest?
I released 3 days ago a maybe 2 months magpie into a big pigeon settlement, but she was so scarried that she escaped and flyed till the next wood. Can you tell me, please, if she can survive by herself? She was about 3-4 weeks when I found her in the grass and I took care of her.
As far as I know corvids stay with their parents for several years and they often live in family groups their entire life. I don't think her chance of survival would be very good, but I hope she makes it!

We found it by the side of the road. Apparently hawks or other predators take them but sometimes drop them far away from their nest. Its very hard to find their parents after that. We left it all day but its parents were nowhere to be found so took it in and found a magpie rescue facility to care for it.
